Like in the previous version of bloons tower defense the intention has stayed the same: eliminate all of the colored balloons, before they reach the finish of the track.

The 2nd version of the game brings us 3 new tracks you can use to finish. Each of the tracks now has its layout and is also linked to a difficulty stage. Easy and medium are quite doable, but finishing 50 levels in hard mode is real hard. Balloons come from multiple points into the track and also go in those different directions. This requires more of your tower building skills!

It is not only the tracks that have changed, but the creators also added more challenges to pop balloons to the game. This change can be eliminated by the new weapons you have at your disposal. Added are tacks, monkey glue and the boomerang monkey.

Bloons Tower Defense 2 could be titled as a nice successor of the first version. It gives more weapons, tracks and so several hours of fun. If you were planning to begin playing bloons tower defence 4, it might be better to gain some exposure to Bloons Tower Defense 2 first.
